Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar is an American and British sitarist. She was the first person of her generation to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shankar is an emerging young star of sitar music. Indian sitar. She is Ravi Shankar's pupil and is also his daughter of Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982. She spent her early years shuttling back and forth to London as well as New Delhi. At New Delhi, she made her debut when she was only thirteen years old. Then she relocated to Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha continues to have a bright career in recording and performing even though she's only a teenager. Her father has accompanied her to numerous performances over several years. Her debut solo album, Anourag, was released in 1998. Her Grammy-nominated Live At Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. Because she has performed on all the major stages in the world, her career on stage has been extensive. Anoushka Shakar's work is not only limited to music. In 2002, she wrote a book entitled Bapi The of My Life. of My Live this is an illustrated biography that pays special respect to her dad Ravi Shankar. In 2003, she was a part on Dance Like a Man as the Bharat Natyam artist. Anoushka Shakar's profession will only continue to grow and expand. We can look at seeing lots of new things from her. Anoushka Shakar, who was born in England spent a large part of her life between London Delhi. When she moved to California she finished high school. She began learning music at the age nine and played the sitar in celebration of the 75th anniversary her father's birth in Delhi the following year. Anoushka's father toured around across the world with her and she also gained a variety of experience. As she was teenagers, Anoushka performed at Carnegie Hall at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD Music Festival. In the end, The House of Commons Shield was given in her honor by the British Parliament for being the pre-eminent Asian Arts musician. She is the sole female and is the smallest recipient of the distinction.
